It’s easy to forget how huge and ungainly these full-size, pre-oil-shock cars were, compared to even the largest vehicles today. Once in a while you see one on the road, and their sheer size makes them stand out. If you never had the experience of driving one, you can’t appreciate how hard they were to maneuver (even with power steering) and park. On the other hand, they had unbelievable power, and the ride was silky smooth.
