1980 Spring Feeling shampoo by Andrew Jergens company Awesome smell.
1980-1981 Alberto VO5 pump hairspray the most incredible fragrance ever.
1980-1981 a Suave shampoo in a brown bottle so thick it was like a gel, orange color, incredible fragrance.
1987 Suave honeysuckle shampoo incredible honeysuckle smell unlike now where the smell does not
match the name of the plant.
Wish they would bring almost all of these shampoos and hairsprays back especially Body on Tap and the VO5 pump hairspray with the same 1980-1981 fragrance.
1987: “The Rusk Edition” by irivine and rita rusk. “wash” shampoo was in a very contempory stylish uk styled packaging, with a fine art logo like a matisse painting, a very softening shampoo, there was a fab range to go with it including conditioner rinse the rusks were pioneers in every way, panthenol protien etc in this range.
January 1987: Revlon releases “nutrasome” thickening shampoo and thickening serum, with new trioxyl with muccopolysaccharides, used correctly, This stuff Really worked to stop hairloss and plump up limp strands. Why they discontinued this i’ll never know but my hair has never been the same since 2016.
1983: loreal releases “Protelene” protien conditioner for seriously damaged bleach and colour ruined hair. and also a shampoo, the conditioner outlasted the shampoo.
Contains protien. amino acids. ceramides. And silk. Discontinued yrs ago in us and uk, was the buisness and could better repair hair than todays olaplex. sold in sachets only in the middle and far east now.
1981: Infusium 23 repair milk serum and shampoo, it’s a shadow of its former self now. The original once miraculous formula that actually penetrated and stopped chewing gum hair from falling apart has been no more since the late 90’s when they changed the formula badly.
This was an eye opening product, it was so slippery and people loved it as it saved peoples hair back in the 80’s to mid 90’s.
Does anyone remember a shampoo and conditioner that were sold together? One bottle was darker pink and the other was lighter pink. They came packaged together. The bottles were not completely round but had a slight angular shape.
Does anyone remember a brand of shampoo and conditioner that came in shiny, black, square-shaped bottles? It smelled amazing and I used to buy it from Long’s Drugstores on the west coast in the early 90s. I’ve been going crazy trying to find out the brand name of this shampoo! Or even just to see a picture of the unusual square shaped bottle!
