Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- Powdered sugar for rolling
- 1 cup chocolate bits, melted
- Chopped nuts, coconut, chocolate jimmies
Instructions
- Cream butter; add sugar gradually; add vanilla.
- Sift flour, cornstarch and salt together; blend into creamed mixture; chill.
- Shape teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, triangles, crescents or bars.
- Place on greased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 375 degrees about 12 minutes.
- Cool; roll in powdered sugar.
- Dip part of each cookie in chocolate then in nuts, coconut or jimmies.
