Take a look at these examples of old-fashioned bathroom tile style in one beautifully decorative bathroom from the 1930s.
The fittings — shower pan, bathtub, toilet and pedestal sink were all part of a powder blue ceramic bathroom suite.
A Gothic-style arch gave the room a little extra ceiling height over the bathtub, and provided a decorative focal point. Hand-painted tile sets in blue and white filled the tub enclosure.
Running along the top of the shower, tub and toilet niches were more elegant tiles — this set with handpainted green and blue stripes.
The room also included a chaise lounge and footstool decorated in pink and green.
