Hi, i was looking tor the reasom that bathroom doorknobs in the 50’s were split – solver on oneside and gold on other. Any reason?
Hello Susan!
They did this if the bathroom fixtures were chrome, the the inside knob would be chrome, and the outside knob would be brass or bronze to match the other door hardware.
