This formal 1940s dining room had an elegant stylized loop pattern on the drapery fabric that was repeated on the pulls of the chest, the lamp base, the fine china, and the flower containers.

The glassware and hand-woven mats worked well with the other elements in this retro room, even without the same degree of coordination.

The modern furniture — the dining table and the cabinet — were in the era’s popular bleached wood finish.
