The first vintage Etch-A-Sketch toy was introduced on July 12, 1960. It was a big seller from early on, and over the years, Ohio Art made several other creative, artistic toys — such as those shown below.

After so many successful years, though, in 2016, the good ol’ Etch-A-Sketch and Doodle Sketch brands were sold to the company Spin Master.
