Forever Krystle & Carrington were his and hers fragrances created to capitalize on the popularity of the TV show Dynasty.

They were named for two of the main characters: Krystle Carrington (Linda Evans) and her oil tycoon husband Blake Carrington (John Forsythe).

There’s plenty of gold and glitter in the Dynasty licensed goods. Charles of the Ritz, which earlier made a splash with Yves Saint Laurent’s Opium, is bringing out perfume and toilet water called Forever Krystle, after the Krystle Carrington character played by Linda Evans.

The perfume — in a faceted-crystal bottle, of course — can be yours for $150 an ounce. Soaps, powders, and other skin, hair, and bath products have also been licensed, and a men’s fragrance based on John Forsythe’s Blake Carrington is in the works. – New York Magazine, August 6, 1984
