Hey millennials! You’ll come to realize just how many breakfast cereals there were — and how many you forgot — as you scroll through these images showing so many awesome 90s cereal ads.

Of course, you’ll still recognize many of those staples that never seem to die from decade to decade — Cheerios, Lucky Charms and Rice Krispies, as just a few examples.

1990s cereal collection

But do you remember (or did you even know about) Cheerios Millenios? Or how about Lucky Charms’ commemorative 1996 Olympics Edition — featuring six Olympics-themed marshmallows? And then there were the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Sprinkle Spangles cereals, both of which had relatively limited runs in the 90s before being discontinued.

The more you think the cereal aisle stays the same, just a small peek back makes you realize that the options are forever in flux — and very much in step with special events and the pop culture trends of the times.

Check out these cereals from the 90s and tell us the favorites you remember, or let us know about any we missed.

BUT WAIT – THERE’S MORE! Cereals from the 1950s | 1960s breakfast cereals | Popular 1970s cereals | Vintage 80s cereal
